I just got back from my Anniversary Trip with Hubby. We flew into Buffalo, drove to Niagara Falls for a few days, spent a few in Toronto, then flew back home. I am not going to lie I love our trip every year where it is just the two of us. We get to sleep in and eat when ever we want. I am not going to lie though the best part of my trip this year was I came home to a fully potty trained toddler. Yep while I have been fighting that battle for the last year with screams and tears (from both of us) my Mother In Law did it in two days. She just said this is whats happening and you need to deal with it – and she did.
Best. Mother-in-law. EVER!
On a sad note I didn’t get to do any kind of crafty thing this week. I looked for a yarn shop in all the places we visited but didn’t find a single one. I have no idea where they hide them but they are not near touristy places at all.
I did spend time building up my dream list of things to do. I found a cute cocoon pattern that I am going to try. It is in a solid color and is big enough it drapes in the front across the chest and doesn’t just cross the front of the shoulders. If that makes any sense. I am sure I will be posting pics.
Remember that there is no Yarn Giveaway this month. I plan to have another in July.
I have started getting some coupon codes/ sales from Craftsy and CreativeBug that I can share with yall as an affiliate. I am not going to bombard you with every single one but if one pops up I think you will love I will send out a note so you can save some money on your crafts! I like to justify the courses to Hubby like this – the more I learn, the better my craft, the better my craft the happier I am, when I am happy I make pie for no reason – and you love pie.
